Most of our units are covered by the Alberta New Home Warranty Program (ANHWP). The information is in the binder you received from Distinctive and should have been reviewed with you by your Lawyer on closing.
The premium paid to ANHWP was included in the price of your house which ensures that our builder has built our houses properly per a variety of Alberta’s Laws. This program helps owners ensure that any approved defects that occur prior to the warranty period expiring are fixed.

A basic timeline table to covered items is:
Everything – 1 year
Distribution systems – (plumbing, electrical, heating etc) 2 Years
Envelope – roof, siding, stone, water penetration etc- 5 years
Structure- walls, floor, roof- 10 years.
